ARMSX3 (PS3 Emulator)

ARMSX3 is a free and open source Android version of PlayStation 3 emulator based on RPCS3. It integrates upstream development results and is jpolo1224-led, developed in cooperation with Whatcookie, focusing on improving the performance, compatibility and ease of use of Android platforms. Your PS3 theme can run on ARMSX3. Load the PS3 theme file (.p3t) you have, and ARMSX3 will set it as your theme library background. The static theme will show its cover image, the slide theme will loop the picture, and the dynamic/3D animation theme will play in real time, presenting the same dynamic scene and characters as on the host. The same applies to non-PS3 themes (.p3t), just as ARMSX2 supports png/jpeg/gif/webp backgrounds. Minimum configuration requirements Android 11 or higher 64-bit ARMv8.1 processor Xiaolong 865/870, Mali G57 or equivalent configuration Adreno 650 or equivalent configuration, supporting Vulkan 1.1 8 GB memory mainly for lightweight games Recommended configuration requirements Android 13 or higher Xiaolong 8 Gen 2 or higher Adreno 740 or higher version 12 GB memory good heat dissipation equipment, can run most games, however, games with high SPU/CPU requirements cannot be run. The best configuration requires • Android 14 or higher • Snapdragon 8 Elite or higher, which provides the best performance for PS3 on Android systems and can run large games. • Adreno 830 or newer • 12 GB or more memory • Active cooling is recommended for sustained performance Be sure to use the custom driver that is best for your device. This is a PS3 emulator and is not suitable for low-end devices. On the PC, RPCS3 has quite high system requirements. In order to make it provide a good experience on the ARM architecture, the development team has made a lot of efforts, but the better the hardware, the better the experience. Performance varies from game to game, just like with RPCS3. The larger the CPU/GPU, cooling and memory, the better the experience.
