Computer players understand opening requirements, natural canasta and mixed canasta, frozen discard pile, safe discard, match score, and the decision to cooperate to end the cooperation. Classic rules and practical options use two decks and four ghost cards to change the starting minimum, red three bonus, natural canasta and mixed canasta, and a strategy game around the discard pile.
