Fly Me Out
About this game
「Game Introduction」
Fly Me Out is an interactive narrative game independently produced and designed by Halfway Studio. Through unique hand-drawn art and delicate two-line storytelling, it aims to create an immersive experience for the player through interesting game interaction. At the same time, we hope that after the gaming experience, the player can have a certain level of resonance and understanding about the protagonist "Xiao Hong" in the story who is suffering from Bulimia.

「Game Design」
The game uses creative touch interaction, with beautifully styled, unique color design hand-drawn drawings, and abundant story content and narrative skills from the creators; The goal is to create a realistic and nuanced game environment in which players can feel the anxiety, struggles, and cravings of bulimic people, experience strong empathy, and have a better understanding about the hidden "WHOM" in the society.

[Our purposes]
The creation of the game name was inspired by a conversation with a friend of us who had experience the pain of bulimia, and whose personal experience strengthened our determination to help people with bulimia. In the subsequent in-depth interviews with the patient group, we learned that it was often difficult for them to talk about their illness in front of their relatives and friends, or they might face the dilemma of stating their current situation but not being understood. For most people, bulimia is often just a small problem that can be solved by "eating less". So we came up with the idea to make a game about bulimia, hoping that through this game, we could educate more people about bulimia, and understand their struggle with both body and mental state health.
