The permanent upgrade will turn the collected material into a preparation to continue deep into the mine, instead of just repeating the same round of clicks. After the automatic mine is turned on, in-game materials will continue to accumulate before you return. Come back to build a new pickaxe, compare the upgrade path, and then push deeper into the rock layer, forming a clear resource cycle. Every time you return to the mine, there are clear tasks: to crack open the rock formation, use the materials, select the next upgrade, make the pickaxe more suitable for the new mining depth, and put the ore into subsequent strengthening and further exploration of the mine channel.
